Refund Policy

Below is a summary. For our full official refund policy, please see our Terms of Use. As we offer a fully featured version of the browser (with limits on the number of Identities you can run) all users have the opportunity to try Ghost Browser for free. Therefore, we have a simple and clear 'no refund' policy.

We make the no refund policy clear and require that users click two boxes that are unchecked by default confirming that they understand there are no refunds on Ghost Browser subscription purchases.

Exceptions to the policy:

  1. Technical error on our side or Stripe that causes a double charge. This does not include instances in which you sign up multiple times. (see below).
  2. Technical error on our side that prevents cancellation. ("I cancelled but it still charged me" is the most common reason we get for refund requests but we are able to verify whether or not this actually happened and 99% of the time it did not.)
  3. Fraudulent transactions. (i.e. someone stole your credit card number).
  4. Other reasons required by law.

We do not make exceptions for:

  1. "I added a second license instead of upgrading my original one". In this case, we will extend your subscription to account for the extra payment.
  2. I forgot to cancel.
  3. I haven't used it. (We don't track this and it's not what determines the cost).
  4. Any other reason not stated above.
