Toggle the Hardware Acceleration Setting to Improve Performance

Hardware acceleration is a default setting in Ghost Browser which allows some functions to perform as efficiently as possible. However, in some cases, this setting can interfere with the proper functioning of Ghost Browser.

Customer Support may ask you to toggle this setting to see if it fixes your issue: if it’s currently active, deselect it. If it’s currently turned off, turn it on.

To change your hardware acceleration setting:

From Ghost Browser, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the browser and select Settings.
Click Advanced at the bottom of the settings menu to reveal advanced settings.
In the System section, as seen in the screenshot below, select or deselect the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox.
Close and restart Ghost Browser to see if that fixes the issue you were experiencing.
