Managing the hardware acceleration setting

Hardware acceleration is a default setting in Ghost Browser which allows some functions to perform as efficiently as possible. However, in some cases this setting can interfere with the proper functioning of Ghost Browser.

Customer Support may ask you to toggle this setting to see if it fixes your issue: if it’s currently active, deselect it. If it’s currently turned off, select it.

To change your hardware acceleration setting:

  1. From Ghost Browser, click the browser menu in the upper right-hand corner of the browser and select Settings.
  2. Click Show advanced settings.
  3. In the System section, select or deselect the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox.

  4. Close and restart Ghost Browser to see if that fixes your problems.
